Dancing With Daddy

Elsie has been holding her head up a lot more. Since acquiring this new found talent, Alan has taken time out to start dancing lessons.

Sweet Moment

One Month

Here is Elsie's one month sizing shot. I finally figured out how to make a slide show work in my post, so the rest of the photo shot is on that. She is getting so big! She is getting really good at holding her head up and she has started smiling at us(on purpose, not just gas). Her favorite activities are still eating, sleeping, pooing, and swinging in her swing. She loves getting her hair washed and brushed, but is still not so sure about the rest of the bathing process. She's been sleeping really well at night. We put her down in the evening, and she's up one around 3:30ish, eats, falls back asleep, and then wakes up again around 7 to eat again. We've started to settle into a nice little routine. :)

Alan's interpretation

Elsie has been getting good at grabbing and holding on to things, so when Alan was playing with her last night, I suggested he get some toys and start teaching her how to play with them. This is what he came up with.

My baby's hair is getting long

Here she is fresh from a bath and in her jammies getting ready for bed. Her hair is almost to the point where it is too long to do the faux hawk look...

I've gotten a lot of comments from people saying how much Elsie looks like Alan. Now, there's nothing wrong with that, I happen to think that Alan is cute too. But just to prove that there is a little of me in there, my mom pulled out some of my old baby pictures. See if you can see some similarities...
