Sweet Snuggly Girl

This is what Elsie loves to do after her baths. Sit wrapped up in her towel with a sippy and a friend. Not necessarily with a zoned-out expression on her face. That was just because it was Sunday and almost time for church and our ward meeting time just moved to start at nap time, so... yeah. Sacrament meeting is a little rough to get through, but once she's in nursery she's just fine. Elsie is such a social little girl. Loves to be around people and other little kids. She says bye bye and gives us a kiss at the nursery door and then doesn't care that she doesn't see us for two hours. She's pretty independent like that.

Baby Doll

My mom just sent Elsie her very own baby doll. I guess she figures she needs some practice before the real baby gets here in February. Elsie seems to enjoy it quite a bit. We ran some errands today and she insisted that her baby had to come with her. She gets very concerned if the baby's blanket falls off as well.

Ring around the Rosie

Elsie's new favorite game. But, being 5 months pregnant, I really don't like falling down over and over again. I think this is an acceptable solution...

Picnic up the canyon

We had a nice little picnic in a park.

Lots of food, a portable grill for hamburgers, and plenty of cookies.

Kyle and Shelina came with us too.
After dinner we went for a little walk by the stream.

And Elsie had to throw rocks in the water.

I don't know why she loves rocks so much...

Recently...

We've been in Oregon for the last little while visiting my folks. Unfortunately, all of the pictures that where taken were left on my mom's computer... Oh well, I'll get the eventually. Here's a few shots from the last few weeks that have been sitting on my camera for a while.

Baby Swenson is due February 2nd.

Elsie is still not too sure what to think about it, but she's warming up to the idea.
