She rolled over for the first time last night, then again this morning for Alan and the camera.

First stoller ride

We finally picked up a little stroller for Elsie. We took it for a walk this morning around the local university. As you can tell, Elsie was thrilled with the ride...
She actually did very well. She enjoyed looking around at everything and kicking her feet. On another note, here's a picture of her latest talent:

Not quite rolling over yet, but she can get herself up onto her side. She normally rolls herself onto her side to sleep now, too. Its pretty dang cute. And finally, one of my new favorite pictures of her...

Two Months

Elsie is two months old! Here is her two month sizing shot. My little girl is getting so big! She also had her two month doctors check up, and here are her stats:

Weight - 10 lbs 6.5 oz - 46 percentile
Length - 23.63 in - 91 percentile
Head circumference - 14.96 in - 31 percentile

Everything else went just fine. She had her first round of shots, and it was fairly traumatizing for her(and for me). Once she calmed down, which took the better part of an hour, she decided she was ok and we even got a few more smiles out of her later that evening. She really is a good baby.

I love my baby. I am so glad that little Elsie has joined our family. Sure, things can be a little trying at times, but I wouldn't change it for anything. Our lives have changed and we don't get to and can't do a lot of the things we used to, but I gladly give it up for the opportunity to have Elsie in our life. It really is an amazing experience. Elsie is such a sweet baby. She's becoming quite the little traveler. She's already been on more plane trips in her two months then I had in all my growing up years. But she takes everything in stride and doesn't complain much about anything. She is still sleeping through the night and is always ready with a big smile. I couldn't ask for a better little girl.

Welcome to Oregon

Elsie and I made it to Oregon yesterday after a loooong flight. Elsie is quite the good little flyer, she was wonderful on the 7 hour trip (2 flights and one layover). Its good to be in the Northwest again!
