Happy Birthday Elsie

Elsie turned four last week, but we have been fighting some nasty colds, so this post is a little over due...

Elsie woke up that morning to balloons and a pile of presents. Alan and I graciously dragged ourselves out of bed at 6:30am to watch her open them.

We went to Alan's work for special birthday lunch, and then Elsie had two friends come over and play later that afternoon. For dinner we went to Red Robin and Elsie got her special birthday meal and ice cream.

We ended out the evening with a little cake and ice cream at home.
Happy birthday Elsie! I can't believe you're four years old already!

Happy Easter

We started on Saturday with a chilly Easter egg hunt. The Richards invited us to come out and join in the fun. It was crazy and chaotic with that many kids everywhere, but the girls loved it.

Sunday morning brought full Easter baskets waiting to be opened. Their haul included pretty spring dresses and a wind up chick and bunny (thanks Jeanine!). The chick and bunny were the highlight of the morning and have been hopping around ever since.

My two pretty little girls showing off their new dresses.
