Elsie's birthday was on Easter this year, so we celebrated it the day before. She was very excited when we told her it was her birthday, and then was even more excited when she asked if it was her birthday the next day and we said yes. She then spent the whole next week telling everyone that it was her birthday.
We started the morning off by opening presents.
Next came playing with all of the presents.
We all went out together to the zoo. They had a lot of fun running around, looking at animals, feeding the goats, and playing.
We went to Red Robin for dinner and free birthday meals. Elsie was so excited when they brought out balloons and ice cream and sang her happy birthday. She just beamed and said "it IS my birthday! And they sing to me!"
We finished off the evening with a little birthday cake at home. It was a busy day, but it was a great birthday.
