Alice turned two on Monday. Despite our best efforts, it was a pretty miserable day. Alice woke up with a fever and spent most of the day sleeping or snuggling. I had planned on doing some fun things with her during the day, but she wasn't up for any of it. When Alan got home we had a little dinner, opened presents, and ate cake and ice cream.

This is my third time looking through the pictures and it almost seems as though I was there....but you know why? Because in these photos Alice looks so much like you did about that age, and of course I was there for your birthday!
Poor girl. Can you believe your baby is two now?? Time flies!
