Visit from Virginia

Andrew, Michelle, Sophie, and Elanor made the drive from Virginia to visit us before we head back to school. It's a long drive to make with two little girls, but we're glad they came!
Elanor and Sophie meeting Elsie
All three girls

Tickle tickle! Elanor tickles her Uncle Alan's feet.
Elanor likes to play with Elsie's toys
Alan reads a story before bedtime. Both girls are enthralled... Elsie with her binky and Elanor with her swim diaper.
Elsie meeting her Uncle Andrew
"Here's your rattle, Baby Elsie!"
It was a short visit, but it was good to see them. Thanks for making the trip!

Cute, Cute, Cute! What adorable girls!

1. Sophie looks so "Old!"

2. Sophie and Elanor are going to be thrilled to have a baby of "their own" this next year. :)

3. Elsie looks scared during the reading time....was it the "war chapters?" :)

4. I think Elsie enjoys company!

While traveliing and playing at the coast yesterday we thought of you often, knowing that you were getting together at the same time.
Hugs and kisses to all from me!

I spoke too soon...

After posting the last comment I looked closer at the book during the story time picture and now I'm going to say that Elsie is wide-eyed with awe. She's looking at images of the Savior!

Alan was reading the story where Christ comes to the Nephites and blesses the children :)

Wish we had time to stay longer, but we were glad we took the trip. We'll also get some pictures up one of these days of the awesome "water park" at our hotel. The girls behaved admirably during the long drive, and they loved playing with Elsie. Have a safe trip back to Utah!
