"No! Elsie do it!"
I hear those words way too many times during the day. Most of the time it is when we are in a hurry or trying to get kids out the door. I know she is just yearning for greater independence, but sometimes it is just a blatant stall tactic, and that is when it drives me nuts.
This picture really has nothing to do with this post, I just liked it.

I LOVE that she has such a confident little personality and likes to do things for herself! She is asserting her need to have some control over her life. Ha ha, but I don't have to deal with it all day long, either. Trust me, some day you'll be glad that she has these traits. But you know that already. :) Hang in there, Mommy!
